Wales Attractions

Being a lot more refined and quiet than its bordering provinces, the province of Wales is much more scaled back in both social activities as well as attractions.

Along with the English countryside, Wales is filled with some of the world's most beautiful castles and vineyards. One of the most popular tourist vineyards is the Llanerch Vineyard which produces very expensive wine consumed by the Royal family and other dignitaries when they visit Great Britain. Finger food and full course meals are served at the vineyard as is the case with most and are a delightful means to enjoyment as you sit outside in the afternoon sun in a very relaxing atmosphere.

If you’re a world renowned traveler, you're very familiar with the Hard Rock Cafés and hotels. Inside downtown Wales is one of the most special Hard Rock Cafés showcasing some of England's most priceless memorabilia from some of their famous bands. Seating is endless which means absolutely no wait for a table and most people visit the Hard Rock to view some nostalgia of rock and roll history.

A day long trip is expected at the Abbey Mill. With shops, restaurants, and strolling pathways, the Abbey Mill is one of the main historical attractions in the southern part of Wales. Along with a splash of wine, their meals are voted some of the best in Europe with their famous teacake and delicious wine selections.

For the younger crowd, sailing and surfing along the Welsh coast is a local favourite and is frequently visited by a number of tourists every year. You can do these activities with a guide or try them yourself. Rental equipment is highly suggested as many of these pieces of equipment are very costly and rentals are typically a lot cheaper if lessons are done with a guide or coach.

Wales is said to be "the castle capital of the world". It has about 400 castles, of which over 100 are still standing, either as ruins or as restored buildings. The rest have returned to nature, and today consist of ditches, mounds and earthworks, often in commanding positions. Craig-y-Nos Castle offers accommodation and even ghosts thrown in for good measure! Ruthin Castle also offers hotel accommodation
