If you enjoy fresh local seafood at an affordable price then make your way to the Mourne Seafood Bar. This seafood restaurant is unique in Ireland as it sources all its shellfish from its own shellfish beds.
Situated in the picturesque village of Dundrum, at the foot of the Mourne Mountains, the Seafood Bar is only 30 minutes drive from Belfast. Why not build up an appetite for lunch with a long walk through the nearby Murlough nature reserve or have a paddle along the nearby strand.
Our oysters, mussels and cockles are cultivated on our shellfish beds in nearby Carlingford Lough. The Lough with its deep cool waters provides the ideal conditions for growing shellfish. The waters are classified grade A and are constantly monitored to ensure our shellfish arrive at the table in first class condition.

Currently the 'hot ticket' in Warrenpoint, this swanky new arrival is the latest venture from seasoned Irish restaurateurs Ray and Andrea McArdle. It's situated in the centre of the town (often dubbed the 'Gateway to the Mourne Mountains') and you need to go through Bennett's Bar to reach the dining room. Once there, you'll find a stylish mix of dark wood tables, red leather seating and a menu that goes straight for the bull's-eye.
Among the dishes you can expect are crispy duck wontons with red chard and mango mayonnaise, tempura of John Dory with pea and ham velouté, and desserts such as hot creamed rice with rhubarb compote and ginger ice cream.
